Church

Am I being a good Christian? Hmm.. frankly I can’t be sure.
It feels different going to church here actually.
Back home, church was the most natural thing ever:
Saturday: fellowship (oh, I skip sometimes :p)
Sunday: wake up, breakfast, church, Sunday school, eat out for lunch

But here, I feel kinda alone when I go..
I’ve been going to fellowship and sleeping over at my church for 3 weeks now and really its nice there, but then I always go by myself.
Now I’m not blaming anyone for not going, I understand everyone has work, exams and stuff but I’m just saying it feels different being the only 18 year old there. Everyone else is like 20 and above.

BUT, there IS an up-side to this situation. Being the youngest and sort of newest person there, I guess it is a good chance to get to know my church people better. I mean, they’re really nice people and they kinda tell me a lot of other stuff I otherwise wouldn’t’ know about (like naruto’s writer dying in the earthquake… sad) (And where to look for cool videos)

And let’s not forget Sunday worship. The service was fine, but the through it all, I didn’t feel right at all. Things are hard to explain here so I’d skip the details. Only know that there was nothing wrong with the pastor or worship things or anything, just me.
And another thing, since no one really reads this anyway, I really missed my mum this morning. Yeah, I said it. Mum, if you’re reading this, I miss you, alright? =)

Well, tomorrow’s going to be the start of another week. Hopefully a good one too.
And to cheer myself up, I might as well write out a list of things to be thank God for:
1. I got to taste something called “Loh” mee today at Cheras after church. Here’s a picture. (The cincau in the pic is disgusting though)

2. I recently got new shampoo. And it’s from Tre’semme!!!!!
3. I can go swimming soon!
4. I finished my homework at church so I’m free now!
5. I discovered that the wifi in church is just AWESOME, I’m not kidding.
6. I’m going to get more community hours soon, will be going to Taman Megah’s Children Home. It’s like the Sunflower Centre in Miri
7. Will be going to Baskin Robbins this Wednesday! I get a free extra scoop if I wear something pink! yay!
